Mahendra Dasa joined ISKCON in 1989. He served as a book distributor; temple commander; temple president in Sofia, Bulgaria; gurukula headmaster in Radhadesh, Belgium; course director and trustee of Bhaktivedanta College, Belgium; editorial manager/BBT liaison for the Bulgarian language; and senior preacher in Bulgaria and Belgium. Presently he serves as a member of the Board of directors in Bhaktivedanta College; he is a member of TASC (Team for Assessment of Sannyasi Candidates) and Sannyasa College under the Sannyasa Ministry; chairman of the National Council of ISKCON Bulgaria (2021). He holds professional degrees in Philosophy and Management.
